Cargo lifting features of K-Max

The hull cross-section and bubbled side windows

K-Max has a hull section V shaped. Combined with large, bubbled side windows it gives an excellent visibility from the cockpit. This is particularly important feature of the helicopter that provides cargo to a very small space.

3D prints of K-Max model

Today a 3D prints of our current project K-Max helicopter are presented to public. You can see their look just after being printed and delivered to our workshop. then they are carefully checked and corrected for possible errors. Also some details are added – that can not be printed well with 3D printer.

K-MAX Mission Extended Indefinitely in Afghanistan

Lockheed Martin video explains a great role played by K-Max in resupply remote posts in Afghanistan. K-Max missions are backup for problems with truck transports ambushed frequentely by Taliban guerillas.
